Product 02
Diesel
Evaluated by grade, seasonal properties, sulphur content, origin and destination.
Product context
What this product is, commercially.
Diesel is the working fuel of the region. Agriculture, mining, construction, haulage and power generation all draw on it, and demand moves sharply with the season. Grade selection is therefore not a formality: cold-flow properties determine whether a parcel is usable at destination in the month it actually arrives.
What matters commercially
The variables that decide whether the movement works.
- 01
Grade and seasonal properties
Summer and winter grades are not interchangeable. Cold-flow behaviour has to match the delivery window and the destination climate.
- 02
Sulphur content
Destination product standards set the permitted sulphur level. The applicable standard is confirmed against the specification before the structure is fixed.
- 03
Origin and standard
Producing regions issue product against different national standards. Equivalence has to be demonstrated by documentation, not assumed.
- 04
Delivery programme
Spot parcels, monthly programmes and term structures place different demands on railcar allocation and terminal capacity.

Trading & execution
Our role on Diesel
Barrelsway acts as the commercial principal in the transaction, coordinating supply, structure and physical movement as one process rather than as separate steps handed between parties.
- 01
Confirmation of grade, seasonal specification and applicable product standard.
- 02
Alignment of volume with railcar availability and discharge capability.
- 03
Structuring of delivery basis, inspection point and payment terms.
- 04
Coordination through loading, rail movement, border and final-mile delivery.
Availability, origin, specification, volume and delivery terms require confirmation in every case. Nothing on this page constitutes an offer or a confirmation of availability.
